Our attacking play can look so dismal against teams who are prepared to sit back.

Can anyone tell me another team that constantly slides a ball into their front man with his back to goal whilst he's being marked, hoping that somehow it'll break for you? It's basically just what Moyes did with Anichebe, only even less effective.

Yes mate, pretty much every single team across all four professional divisions in England.

I dunno, I think that's unfair.

Tactics are about creating chances and we did that. Lukaku is slightly sharper or coleman gets a pen called on him and we get 2 or 3 goals.

Disagree. We'd have won that no more than 1-0 in my opinion. But they're hypotheticals so I won't argue too much.

I think after the Villa game, this result becomes more maddening. If this was straight after the United game then I'd find it easier to ignore it, but it's just worrying. We've had a run of 6 good games this season, that's our period of good form. So is it really that crazy to think that the other 28 games were the normal ones, and the 6 are the blip?

As I pointed out last week, it's usually the FIFA playing bells under thirty years of age cry arsing the most. They watch some European footie on satellite and got Yeovil promoted on career mode so they think they're experts on togger.

Im absolutely made up that the tories got back in and will keep them either unemployed or on zero hour contracts.

It wasn't typical of our performances this season though.
We created plenty of chances, had some nice interplay and didn't lack penetration but instead the finish.
Two jammy goals, one of which should have been disallowed in any case and a blantant pen not given, the result goes the other way in a game where we were the better team.
We haven't been the better team often enough this season.

Dunno mate you tell me.
Certainly hasn't changed mine but everyone is different
Today we played well and like i said last week i will now give him time he deserves that for the way he has managed in the last 2 months.
He still has his blinkers on regarding naismith and howard but hopefully he will sort that in time

At what minute did we first seriously threaten?

At what minute did their keeper first have to make a save?

Possession without intent. We woke up later on but too little, too late.

Passing without purpose.
