Moyes is history and done.

It,s the present and the future which is the pressing concern one would think and bobby comments today have cast more doubt.

I already have. Mauro Boselli and Ronnie Stam for £10m. Arouna Kone for £6m. I'm looking at the managers career here to see a track record - surely, given how horrified you are by people judging Martinez on one abject season after a net transfer spend available to him of £30m+, you can see the value of that?

For every positive he's done thus far - like Lukaku and McCarthy - there's a corresponding negative throughout his career - like Kone and McGeady. For us, that's £40m vs. £7m, so the losses aren't an issue yet, but for Wigan he blew money left right and centre.
I'm not interested in what he did elsewhere, just as I'm not interested in what Moyes did at Preston.

Kone is the only substantial fee that's been paid for a poor return.

I tell you what, if his transfer market activity was the likes of Besic, Lukaku and McCarthy to every Kone (the four substantial fees paid by him so far) I'd accept that in an instant...and so would anyone else.

Why is Moyes not universally loved by Everton fans?

He defied the odds year after year and was exceptional in the transfer market - Man Utd then wanted him as manager which was an unbelievable complement. Yes the Baines / Fellaini transfer saga didn't go down well but surely people have longer memories than that

He always lacked a consistent top quality striker. Martinez brought one in on the 11th hour of deadline day - Lukaku - and his goals bolted on to the Moyes team delivered a Moyes+ season

Unfortunately Martinez does not have Moyes' acumen in the transfer market, and also started from a higher base than Moyes did, so expectations are higher

What has happened this season is a disaster - years of good work unravelling. Can only guess Kenwright hasn't acted due to lack of available alternatives

He did a good job but had plenty of flaws meaning he wouldn't be loved. Big game bottler, never won a trophy, horrendous derby record etc.

Plus he acted like an absolute bellend to us after he left. Everton gave him his opportunity and he pissed on us from a great height. I hope the horrible weapon fails in everything he does.

Is this a serious post?

What did he say

End of the season he has come out today out of the blue like with " I,m not stubborn and I am flexible" this after he was told this by the media, fans and others in the game.

Thing is he,s stubborn because he is too slow witted to work out a Plan B. He had Plan B shoved down his throat by the fans but the fact is his playbook is effin thin which is why he is stubborn and worse take too long to work things out.

He still has,nt addressed why the players and staff have not seen eye to eye or why he cannot seem to organise his team from basic corner kicks to the set up of the team. He chooses to ignore all this but the fact is I am pretty sure that uncle Bill is well aware of what is going on and even bill may get tired of fighting an internal battle he cannot win.
