What if we're 12th by December next season? What's changed exactly? Why sack him then - after all, he's got no worse if that's the case, so why would he suddenly be eligible to bite the bullet if he's done nothing worse?

I am guessing the rational will be if he's competing for a CL place and there's been a good close season (no loss of core players plus additions) then the progression is on course and this season will be seen as a blip.

A poor close season and a continuation of the inconsistencies of this season (in every respect) will make the Board question can he pull it round. Then and only then will change be on the agenda.

Of course if he wins the EL then he's safe for years barring relegation.

I wasn't around on Thursday night but my thoughts where European teams are not setting up optimally v us. They are playing on the front foot allowing us to hit them on the counter . Until we face a pragmatic side that makes it compact we will continue to go well in Europe
Or until Tim leaps over or flaps under the ball

He has lost the plot on our home turf. He has to change his viewpoint or else. A good manager will understand this. We will see if he has it in him. 6-10-10. Cor blimey.
