Can't argue with you on tactics, how we're playing etc, just think the lads who go into meltdown when we get beat should offer something when we win.
Like i said earlier, its the first time I've voted 'yes' on one of these. But i dont think he(Martinez) is going to change. And the way we are playing with the personnel available to us is beyond ludicrous. His mantra of sticking with Barkley AND Naismith, not playing with two wingers, Barry, baffling substitutions.... he's not learning.

You play to your teams strengths, not to make your team play to your strengths.

So he's allowed to finish this season, keep us up on goal difference theoretically, and you'd still give him four months of next season before saying he deserves to be sacked?

That's weird to me, but fair enough. Personally, there's a level of expectation for Everton given the current squad and recent history that is higher than that.

There's also a recognition of continuity and development throughout the club. One poor season especially after his first means he will quite correctly be given more time.

My problem is mostly persisting with stuff that clearly isn't working. Time after time we are treated to a narrow team due to playing Barkley, Naismith and previously Eto'o out wide despite it never working in the twenty odd times it's been tried.

Then there is the dropping Robles for Howard thing which you just knew would cost us important points and possibly disillusion/demotivate Robles after him getting some momentum.

Then the lack of urgency in our play. Its often really dull to watch. If he truly got our "DNA" then he'd know to play an Everton team that goes after the opposition no matter what.

He's frustrating me a great deal.

Martinez's subs made the difference today. Gibson and Atsu were both great and would have changed the game but for a bearded clown's incompetency in performing basic errors.
I feel like while he has to bear some of the brunt for bringing him back into the team I would expect Premier League goalkeepers to deal with those 10/10 times. Robles has to be number one as this has been a continual trend with Howard.

I hope your right mate. But without being negative, today's evidence and our run of games and form you have to think it's a possibility

We have lost one game in the last 6 games having played City/Liverpool and Chelsea, Picking up 7 points

Burnley have picked up 2 points

QPR have picked up 3 points

Villa have 0 points from there last 6

Leicester 4 points

Our "run" isn't halve as bad as your making out, Its crap but its not relegation form which you are trying to imply

So... it's embarrassing if the manager is criticised, and it's embarrassing if a player is criticised.

Tell me then - can you tell me what I can point at for us being 12th and in a relegation fight in late February without me being an embarrassment please? Ta.

Its coming back to seasoned pro's letting him, the team & the fans down. Today it was Howard. His subs of Gibson and Atsu were spot on today and would have got us the three points if it wasnt for that fraud in goalz

His management of the team for league games has been awful, hence the very low points total.

I am happy to give him until christmas still. But if there is no change to this pattern we are in he can go.

Another league game we have not won, we are showing relegation form.

Would anybody right now be confident of us beating any of the teams below us in our current form? I definitely would not.

How any blames the manager for those howlers by Howard I don't know.

Martinez in.

Usual stuff here: 4 hour fume followed by 2/3rds of the votes going the Robertonian's way.

He's our manager now, he'll be our manager this time next season.

Although i agree with you, his decision to give howard his place back was pure stupidity. The defence have gone back to how they were when we had distin and howard together.

We all know it. And rightly so.
