So very much this.
Away defeat at Emirates and that breaks the camels back....for so many.

Everybody should just calm the *** down.

Since the admittedly poor run of form over the new year - in all competitions Everton have been 3-4-2 (W-D-L) with 2 away losses to the Best Team in England and Arsenal who have won something like 8 straight at home. Games that we didn't play terrible in and if we had finished better could really have won the Chelsea game and LC - A sign that the tactics were spot on. RM can't finish for players. I am not saying I am happy with the results but outside of bringing Howard back in (and I can see the justification for it - don't agree, but I am not the manager and see practices every day). We are not getting relegated - He deserves another year to finish getting the team the way he wants it. I am with Davek... Pulling for a change for changes sake is shortsighted.

My son has just shown me his toy ,teenage mutant ninja turtle (12inch) which say's over 100 phrases, which gave me the idea of trying to get it to do our press conferences, because the present incumbent has only 4.
we were unlucky
good moment of form
Phenomenal
Tim Howard plays

Add incredible.;)

Out of interest what did he say?
Saying the demands of Europe have been a learning curve for the young squad.

Our worse form this season has been when the competition was not being played. He also blamed our first two games of the season as to our position now. At least be consistent with the rubbish you talk, Roberto.

That's why part of us got annoyed by the crap he said. Why can't he stop talking rubbish...

"Proper Evertonians"
"Parasite clubs"
"Leicester (in Aug 2014)"

When all is said and done he's a salesman selling himself. That why he talks so much dross. He can't be honest out poor performances, poor tactics, poor results because that's an acknowledgement of his own failure this season. He has been found out big style and just can't admit it.
Just hoping things will change for the better next season because it's a new season is absurd. If anything when those wanting to play for 'bigger' clubs disappear it's only going to get worse. There are many on this forum in denial about the predicament the club is in at the moment and when we get turfed out of Europe then the S**t will really hit the fan. Too many clinging to the life raft of Europe at the moment. We're not going to win that just because we're in it. Hope we do by the way but just can't see it.

RM: 'We are very much excited about the games ahead. We are trying to gain momentum in the league, something we have been chasing.'"

RM: "We need to overcome the small margins. Yes we are not getting the results we want but we have an opportunity now in the last 11 games."

Absolute rubbish

He has to take responsibility, small margins and all that but they've fallen the wrong way the whole season. He now has a chance to put it right. He can rescue his season and his career by showing some good form in the league and having a decent run in the Europa. If he can show the ability to win multiple league games in a row then maybe we could say it was just a nightmare patch. It would give everyone hope for next season. If we crash out the Europa and lose to Stoke then fail to beat Newcastle at home, the boos will be deafening and I don't know how Bill can keep ignoring them.

Don't see how he's wrong. We lost against arsenal and Chelsea by small margins. We should have beaten Leicester 6-2. Liverpool could have gone either way. Margins each time

Well the problem being that we didn't beat those teams mate.

There's no points for 'nearly' or 'small margin'. You win or you don't.

Love the way he was asked how do change the small margins in our favour "a change in the way we play" He says no we play the same style we are now but better. GENIUS

Small margins my a**e.We're just not good enough. We have been consistently tosh this season RM is trotting out excuses week after week. Well pretty much the same excuse every week. You don't hear Sean Dyche at Burnley banging on about small margins. He accepts the level at which they are and is realistic about their position - and says so. RM could take a leaf out of his book as far as his press conferences go.
