So basically we'd be in our usual premier league position for the past few seasons minus these loans.

It also means the teams biggest spenders are above us.

Overall what that fat bulb is saying is, if you can't spend the cash, you don't belong and shouldn't gate crash the ones that do.

To me, there's nothing wrong in the loan system. Like with any signing you've got to get it right.

I'll tell you what.

I guarantee you that Barca will be more than happy to loan us players in the future and we'll have the edge over other teams in the mix due to how it's gone with Deulofeu.

Of course this assumes that they aren't serving any sort of transfer ban mind.

Hate to sound like some bitter parochial northerner, but i don't think the london press would be so upset it was the 'appy 'ammers who had done so well out of the loan market.

In fact, as i recall, there was barely a peep over the Tevez fiasco which kept them in the top flight,

Do you hear the Wigan manger moaning? No well you should because that cheat arsen just put on a loan player and he scored 1 of the pens, terrible I expect it to be the headline in the daily fail tommorrow. Wengcheater, with a table of who should be in the fa Cup final.

SNIFF IF MARTIN, YOU BAD BELL

Another loan article in the Mail says:

Everton loan watch… One of the loan players made a significant contribution to this victory. Gerard Deulofeu's great footwork bamboozled Sunderland before his cross was turned in by Brown.

As I got on the Metro from The Stadium of Light to head towards Newastle Central Station an Evertonian also boarded. He was wearing a blue scarf with 'The People's Club' emblazoned on it.

You can't borrow players from big clubs and still sustain 'The People's Club' tag surely?

This one just doesn't make sense lol

i think its great.

not one mention at all about how many loan players have kept teams in the prem causing others to go down which in some cases has very nearly caused clubs to fold.

but we might finish 4th so its now a story.

as said earlier cant wait for the mail "own goals are unfair and should be ruled as no goals" piece.

Adrian Durham - is irrelevant - tosser on the wind up - makes a good living from it - Fat Boy Samuel makes a good point that seems to be overlooked - Stop the so called (no frigging way Chelsea are bigger than us) BIG clubs stock-piling players to stop their "rivals" from buying them & then loaning them out..... This would mean that the transfer market fees would be lower & Lukaku would be in our fee and wage bracket..
