Martínez is transforming Everton

What's the car analogy for 'Kroldrup can't head the ball'?

He once bought a soft top but the roof didn't work. He lost money on it.

This thread is getting a bit sidetracked.

Now and again the head gasket blows and the cars a write off, its the risk you take, but if you can put 150m of cars in the garage and it only costs you 13m in money spent, youve done well, surely?

Given the time rich environment Moyes had he did ok, not great just ok.

Personally I think if you can't watch a game and spot who can play and who can't you don't know football the problem most managers have is they get 2 years and they're down the road here Moyes was set for life if he fancied it.

But it's old ground I'm chuffed to bits he's gone and even happier Martinez is here, Moyes was and is a complete c...

Im also pleased we have Martinez, I think Moyes got a bit stale and lets face it, he never gave a sh1t about Everton, it was all about Moyes, it appears as tho Bobby is more willing to embrace what being an Evertonian means, I guess we find out next week.

That's the picture car analogy of our squad, on the day Moyes took over EFC.

A few quid spent on it and it should be able to compete with this in a race.

If driver A spends £2 million on that car new and driver B spends £150,000 on a second hand one but after a little bit of work manages to get it up to the same standard performance wise would driver B gain a free pass to not compete on the track with driver A just because his car of similar specs cost less?

The problem is tho, while Driver B is tuning his car to compete, Drivers A, C and D are adding 30inch rims and fitting nitro to their cars.

You can't get a 2nd hand one of those for £150 grand, if you really search and your really lucky you might find something old or knackered that was decent once, but never a ferrari.
Plus what Goat said about nitro's and sh!t

The prices weren't supposed to be accurate, just making a point :D

As for team A, C and D adding nitros, it doesn't really make a difference if they don't know how to use those nitros properly.

I was being subtle, we could never afford a top end player like Drogba or Ronaldinho even at the end of their careers. We've always shopped in the bargain basement.
