They do a little bit.

But it's more in the "Oh come on ref i can't believe you gave that, thats so unfair he hardly touched him, oh come on please don't give a pen for that"

rather than

"Hey ref how the f can you give a pen for that you f'ing idiot, he never f'ing touched him" right in the ref's face.

Don't like to see it but thats how you intimidate a ref and make him think twice next time he thinks about giving a decision against you, like plenty of other teams do. If he knows he#ll get a face full of abuse he'll be swayed, if he knows he'll get some mildly annoying whining he won't really care.

*apologies for the language in that one, kinda hard to make the example without doing so.

or get really personal like this:

i've got your kids, i've got your kids andre ha

Tbh my fume levels were higher for our display than Marriners yesterday evening, we all know he was crap, we can't do anything about his display but can about our own teams.

So, come on to f Everton lets get motoring in the league, starting with 3 points Monday week.

Even with 10/9 men?

wouldn't of been attacking jack with 9 men though.

Am Not really into blaming the ref when when the odd decision goes against us even if it's a game changer. but There where 3 massive game changing decisions that got made and all of them went city's way.

You can't tell me that chelsea loosing didn't have something to do with it.

You seriously think they were stonewall reds? If it was given against us we'd be fuming like, especially the Fernando one. As I said, I think I would have given yellows, although the Mangala one I would have seriously considered, as that was bad like.

Having anything to do with Chelsea? C'mon guys, get a grip, bullied by the home crowd is certainly plausible, but because Chelsea lost? This isn't some conspiracy..

Had Roberto complained about the display thus bugger gave yesterday?

You could imaging how the likes of Fergudon's or Wenger would react.

Or even Brent.....he had plenty to say about a dodgy ref after the RS were beaten at City last season.

Yes.

spot on

mad house in here

The Mangala one still floors me. De Jong's karate kick in the WC final is now considered one of the worst refereeing mistakes of all time, and this one seems even worse because Eto'o was hardly even competing for the ball. I can't remember seeing anything like it, and it was effectively ignored.

i think the fact that he looks so clumsy trying to play football made the ref think that it was just his usual clumsiness. i'm sure it wasn't on purpose, but i'm still not entirely sure what he was doing. his foot is in that position for a good few seconds, i have no idea why it was in that position if he wasn't trying to do anything other than a malicious act.

They were the two most stonewall reds I have seen all season, the day that Karate kicking someone or kicking a player in the head is deemed a yellow will be a very dangerous day for players indeed

Personally I think City were aggrieved for a while after Aguero got hurt. There was a couple of challenges going in for a while until that one, at which point I think they realised they needed to tone it down. There's no way it could have been anything other than intentional really.

Similar happened when Barry got booked. Milner went through him (possibly legally, they never showed a replay), so Barry got his own back. It was also legal, but it was a strong challenge and the ref shat himself at the "retaliation". We often are guilty of that, the West Ham game a good example.

I'm rapidly losing interest in football because I am becoming convinced it's scripted. Marriner (and others) CAN'T be that bad to have reached the level he has - what they can be is BOUGHT OFF. Where SKY try to engineer a more exciting league so they can sell more games.
