Cheers. It does my head in the way our players and manager just accept poor decisions. Most teams would have surrounded the ref and demanded a red card for that kick into eto'os back.

Pretty sure they did a bit. Deffo for the penalty

They do a little bit.

But it's more in the "Oh come on ref i can't believe you gave that, thats so unfair he hardly touched him, oh come on please don't give a pen for that"

rather than

"Hey ref how the f can you give a pen for that you f'ing idiot, he never f'ing touched him" right in the ref's face.

Don't like to see it but thats how you intimidate a ref and make him think twice next time he thinks about giving a decision against you, like plenty of other teams do. If he knows he#ll get a face full of abuse he'll be swayed, if he knows he'll get some mildly annoying whining he won't really care.

*apologies for the language in that one, kinda hard to make the example without doing so.

Personally I like the fact our players have a bit of class and do go acting like spoilt brats when something doesn't go their way. It's not as if he's going to change his mind if he hears a torrent of four letter words.

Fair comment mate.in an ideal world all teams would be dignified but they're not and its a disadvantage for us.i suppose it boils down to the standard of the referees needs to improve

Kopite?

The penalty decision was an absolute howler, and he should never have given it
Th boot in the back from Mangala wasn't merely a high foot, it was a deliberate act of violent conduct
Mariner was the sole reason we lost, as it was 1-0 thanks to his penalty award

I think City would have been attacking more if they had known that they needed to score again. However, they knew that they were safe, as we were creating jack all, and so didn't push, but rather controlled. Goals change games, I think they probably would have won anyway.

Even with 10/9 men?

wouldn't of been attacking jack with 9 men though.

Am Not really into blaming the ref when when the odd decision goes against us even if it's a game changer. but There where 3 massive game changing decisions that got made and all of them went city's way.

You can't tell me that chelsea loosing didn't have something to do with it.
