Anyone can make a mistake/miss something/have a different view on an incident.

But when you combine the penalty, two assaults, the yellow for Ross, and the stamp on Coleman late on, (not shown on MOTD), where the City defenders studs ripped Colemans laces, and nothing was given, well, annoyed me a bit.
He also missed barrys elbow on milner (motd didnt show that too)

Not really, when you think about it.

Seeing as one cannot win without the other losing....

As the result was determined by a bad decision from the ref neither team would have won or lost but for aforementioned bad decision.

That is a great little quote and I hope that chap doesn't mind if I shamelessly plagiarise it elsewhere ;)

If he is the reason they won, he is by consequence the reason we lost.

Just think about it, mate. They wouldn't have won if not for him, thus we wouldn't have lost.

Let it go.

The bloke said sommat....I liked it.

Simple as.

Life is too short to get yourself involved in dissecting the musings of complete strangers on the internet in search a hidden meaning or a contradictory nuance.

I'll have you know that pedantry makes me rigid, good sir.

nor do i mate. it's disgusting. it's people trying to do a tough job at the end of the day, they're bound to make mistakes on split second decisions.

but we've won nothing in my time of following everton and we've lost a hell of a lot of derbies based on refs bottling it due to their harrasment rather than them ever actually being better than us.

Fully understand and could not agree more, that our willingness to stay honest and within the rules has gone against us particularly against the RS who employ any tactic or rule-bending ploy they can.

That was never an elbow Barry won the ball clearly with his head minimum contact after that - it never shown Coleman get taken out and fish face never even gave a foul never mind a booking - I thought MOTD for once got the refs poor performance spot on!
