In His first 2 seasons he was very hot and cold yes but this season he really came into his own. Consistency and attitude were his biggest downfall , but he seems to grown up a lot recently. He's a flair player and a massive character. He shows passion and the crowd feed of that.

Love an Oatcake me (I'm a Northener currently working in Leek, but I can still appreciate a nice Bacon and Cheese one in the morning ;) )

I reckon your lot are all set for a great season. Getting Berahino would be the icing on the cake

1) It's closer to three weeks than it is to two
2) We'll make plenty of signings before the window closes - our team will be much stronger than last season
3) We have money
4) We have ambition
5) we will finish much higher than 11th this year.

Delighted that the team that I love looks to be on the up, certainly good enough for me if we do the type of business that it seems we will do. COYB

Can't beat a sausage , bacon and cheese oatcake mate.
I honestly believe we're a striker and CB away from a top team pushing for Europe consistently.

To be honest you're basing all that on faith and presumption, and on maintining a sunny, positive disposition because you're a top bloo. You're basically just saying "I believe because I believe". There's no evidence to support any of it
 
Well done to the player and his agent. A couple of days speculation and interest from us and he gets a pay rise.

I'd agree

I said it in another thread, but I think your team is the model that all promoted teams should follow

You stuck with Pulis in the early days and didn't overspend, and now you're a fully established Premier League Team with massive upside

In a world where clubs like QPR come up, spend loads of money on dross, only to end up going straight back down, you've managed to stay in the top flight and continuously keep moving forward

I'll be very interested to see if you guys kick on in the next few years

There's going to be a very competitive mini-league between 10th and 6th this season that I think we'll both be in, owing to how strong parity is amongst most sides now. Seemingly every side is going out there and spending the new TV money to strengthen

Looking forward to seeing you on the 27th August at Goodison!
 
He is just another mirallas

His good days can be very good but there are more average days than good days

Would be a useful signing but not the type to move us to the next level

Pikelets (not Pikeys!!). Them and oatcakes and Clarice Cliff the only decent things to come out of Stoke - apart from my wife of course.

It's going be very interesting and I can't wait for it to begin. It's been a slow process as you said with pulis at the helm , but he helped steady the ship and made the foundations for what were doing today. I can't thank the man enough but it was his time to go. Sparky has done tremendous since he arrived.
