He always seemed a good player when I've seen him play. He tore us apart last season if I recall correctly. He'd be a massive improvement on our second choice left sided player (Cleverly) and would push Mirallas on. Koeman seems the type who demands a lot from his players so it'd be interesting to see how his supposed Maverick style would go down with him.

I'd be surprised if there was even contact; this sounds like his agent releasing a soundbite to get Stoke to move. He's got a bumper deal by the looks of it.

As far as second choice (potentially even third choice) keepers go, I think it's a decent signing.

But that wasn't the point. You were saying he couldn't get in Fulham's side. That wasn't true.

Didn't realise you where an expert business man who knows how long it takes to sign a player. We have just got a new manger who would have had to start looking for players a few weeks ago. Not like all the other teams who have been searching since January. Everton arnt coming out saying we want Mata, Witsel and Arnautivic, its the press/rumours/social media. Give it time, otherwise we will rush a signing and end up with Niasses brother just because fans are impatient
