I dont even know what rawk is, Im guessing a kopite forum? Why would anyone ever read garbage like that?

Yes it's their forum, apparently it's funny for the meltdowns and deluded rants but could I be arsed going on it to see for myself, no chance, would feel dirty reading it and not the good kind of dirt

We really are signing nobody lol sounds to me like we have told him to GTF with his wage demands or he's threatening to stay at Stoke unless we pay him. I think there has been contact just not sure why it possibly might not happen.

Well in today's market he's worth more than £12.5m, so he's worth buying just for that reason! I'd take him over Wijnaldum any day of the week.

I hate using the ignore button. I have made an obvious exception based on the last few pages of this thread.

As Leicester proved football is a team game. Everyone we sign does not have to meet my or anyone else's definition of a star. They have to meet the criteria agreed between Koeman and Walsh within a budget set by the board.

For the sake of argument just assume we have c. £100m. Then take the Echo's view that Koeman wants a GK, RB, CM & strike-force (wide players, CF) and that the sale of Stones funds any new CB. This implies £100m has to cover around 5-6 players excluding CB. Basic maths says the average will be £16-20m per player.

In this context we need to make half our signings in the £7-15m range to enable 2-3 £25-30m players. At £12.5m Arnautovic is a relative bargain, big, fits a need position (wide left) & is better than McGeady/Kone/Cleverley in that role.

Let us wait this out, see who we do/don't get and then assess how we feel.
