No doubt about that, but i just mentioned that neither struggles to find work in the Prem which should surprise me because every manager in the world surely wants to come here which usually means that if someone fails they are thrown on the scrap heap and somebody new is given a shot, but the likes of Hughes as you point out and others such as Pardew seem to be the go to men of the bottom half clubs. It just points to an astonishing lack of ambition from these sides, its not like every club is broke anymore either. Owners love that premier league wonga though, if one of these tools can keep you in the league year after year without any motive of progression it seems to be accepted.
wouldn't be surprised if Hughes joins Swansea in the summer. Hopefully in the Championship lol

How many managers is that now who have been binned this season? Seems like half the league.

Palace - Frank De Boer
Leicester - Craig Shakespeare
Everton - Ronald Koeman
West Brom - Tony Pulis
West Ham - Slaven Bilic
Swansea - Paul Clement
Stoke - Mark Hughes

7 out of 20 team have changed their manager this season.

I imagine Pardew is on thin ice at West Brom. Hughes might well go there and Pardew go to Stoke.
Says it all really!

I reckon that`s it for Hughes in the Premier league mate.

He`s got such a an over inflated opinion of himself as a manager, which is backed up by nothing but mediocrity, I`d be very surprised if gets another top level job.

He`s possibly one of the most unlikeable people on the planet.

Nah he will always get a job in the league. It's the likes of pardew that I do question because he achieves nothing wherever he goes

Former blue, respect where it's due.
The script headed sub-pad manager.

Stoke may have done Hughes a favour by putting him out of his misery, as a manager has anyone actually seen him smile, thankfully we never invested in him as a boss?
Going with @COYBL25 the Welsh job is available and so is he, best option for both at this time.

He never smiles, as he thinks every one else is beneath him.

That must've been one hell of a " fun " dressing room in the early 1990's with him and Keane in the same team

Managing Wales will bring the smiles back Sparky.
