Transfer Rumour Marcos Rojo

That's the problem though - I don't think Brands had a strategy if Zouma failed.

And that's a MASSIVE black mark against him. He's portrayed this master strategist aura and this nukes that in one fell swoop.

I honestly dont know how you cant find better in Europe than Rojo especially at that price.

I know he'll likely only be back up but still no good to us if he's always injured/suspended.

So Get off the plane to news of Rojo! Seriously could we not find a loan somewhere in Europe? What would this mean for Mina and Keane? Rojo is far from an obvious starter!

I don't think he's looked. I think he's been all in on Zouma and that's that.

And it amazes me to say that because I didn't suspect it at all. I bought into Brands, fully.

There's no way, absolutely zero chance that anyone convinces me Rojo was a plan at any time up until last night.

Yeah, no plan after Zouma. That's what happened.

Rojo in on a loan for CB cover. Left footed, great with the ball, got some pace, lots of snide, a lot of what we don't have. What is negative about this deal? If we are seriously going after Zaha, we can't spend money on buying a CB. He's a good alternative.

Strange reactions here- loaning a backup CB international for Argentina ruins the window?
