West Ham weren’t that bad though, certainly no lost cause. And he still managed to have a less than 30% win rate.
We are in about the same position, later today we'll be able to judge if we are a lost cause.Moyes as you say had a poor win record but he managed to scrap 10 points from draws which made the difference for them.

the biggest issue with Moyes coming in though is we know it’ll never just be til the end of the season, Kenwright wouldn’t be able to control himself throwing a multi year deal his way at first opportunity the bad seat sniffer. It’ll be the final confirmation that we are a complete nothing club

Silva might have saved himself by bringing in someone like Moyse (if not him) as a defensive coach.but appears he's like Martinez and can't identify his own faults.

The only thing with that is Moyes main strength is recruitment and i don't see him working with any kind of DOF on a longer term basis, that's just not his way, he is one of those that micro manages everything and i highly doubt he would work under someone else.

We appointed Alladyce so that means whenever a new manager is muted then naturally we will be linked with the bottom feeders. This is Moshiris legacy for that fateful decision. We deserve it. The damage that appointment caused us is incalculable.

Hughes did very well with Blackburn and was part of a big transition at City. Guilty of not delivering silverware fast enough under new owners who hadn’t appointed him (much like Ranieri at Chelsea), he laid the groundwork for the title win there 18 months after he left, and he’d signed most of the core of that title winning team.
On the other side he virtually relegated QPR and left Southampton in a mess...
