He'd need to win four in a row for me to think he isn't absolutely useless.

He's done a fine job losing four in a row and 5 out of 6.

He's got a long way to go before I restore any sort of belief in his abilities.

Yes, that run is what gave most of us the belief that we were in good hands despite his terrible run over Christmas.

So why is he not gone if the task set is too enormous?

The answer is that Everton are riding this "crisis" out (8 games in, a "crisis" FFS).
