Can't see him being sacked yet, after the fiasco of sacking Koeman, trying to get Silva, ending up with gravy tits just to sack him 6 months later was a costly exercise that the club won't want to repeat

I mentioned it the other day, with Moshiri going all out to get his man in Koeman, and then going all to get Silva, would Moshiri be a bit more hesitant this time because it would mean 2 failed managers chosen by him.

I want Silva gone but I'm all up for him turning it around if he is able to, Yep thats right I'm a flip flop flippity flopper.
So you have a day rider for the Silva bus.You can get off and on as you please, yep there is a few of them in here. There is one who was saying he was an awful manager and then we got a few good results the back end of the season and he jumped back on the Silva bus, but now he is off again.

As with others on here I think we may be coming to the end of the Silva reign as manager, but nobody would be happier than me if he could change our fortunes around and get us on a run similar to the one we had last term.

I do think that improvement is needed urgently, I think the indicator in the fuel tank may have moved into red zone.

Im seeing nothing in the media to suggest his time is up.

Defeat tomorrow would certainly ramp it up, but all other times we have sacked a manger you could feel it in the air.

Sounds like me, The Sheff United is the only result that makes me really want him to go, Everything about that result was disgraceful.
He'd have to perform a run like he did towards the end of last season right now to give me any hope of thinking he is the guy.

Millwall .

He needs to win the next 3 for me to give him the benefit of a doubt for now. Despite all that has happened, there is still time to salvage this season because it is so early, but he needs to improve remarkably on what he has shown so far. I can’t see it happening unless he starts phasing certain players out.

That certainly is true and the relationship between himself and the players seems good, but he needs to start putting some results together...even a draw tomorrow would be a start.

Under pressure Everton manager Marco Silva says the club needs a period of "stability" as he bids for a first league win in over a month.

The Blues have lost their last three league games to turn the heat up on the 42-year-old coach at the start of his second season at Goodison.

Silva insists he understands the fans' frustrations and says it is up to him and the Everton players to "convince" them this poor form is just a blip.

But the Portuguese coach, who oversaw an eighth-placed finish last term, has also stressed the need for the club to avoid more "instability" having sacked three managers since May 2016.

"This club, in the last few seasons, had so many examples of stability and instability," Silva said.

"Look at both situations and see what was best for the solution for the club. It is so easy, so easy in my opionion. Ask that to the fans sometimes and it is not easy because they are emotional but, first of all, it has to come from us, inside the club."

Everton left the field after defeat to Sheffield United to jeers but received some warm applause from the Goodison faithful following the battling defeat to Manchester City last weekend.

On both occasions, sections of fan-base left the ground before the full-time whistle and Silva fully empathises with those exasperated supporters.

"The fans, they are the fans and we have to understand them as well," he said.

"I could come here and say don't make the judgement until the end of the game, not in the middle but fans are fans, they are emotional and you have to understand that.

"The emotions of the fans and what they feel...maybe if I was in their place I would do more or less the same.

"The main thing for me is what we do and think as a football club because everywhere, at the biggest clubs in the world, they are emotional, they want to see your striker score three goals in one game, your goalkeeper save all the shots and they want to see all the team performing as a wall.

"You know our fans, when you are in a good moment we can beat all teams in the world but when we are not, they have doubts, so it is up us to convince them that way will be the best way for them to support the team.

"I fully understand them but, first of all, myself and the players need the calm and patience to keep doing these things.

"The support is important and with stability and with patience we will arrive at that level again."
