If memory serves me right, Allardyce took Blackpool to the play-offs when he was about that age, and then got sacked by the absolute abortion of a human being known as Owen Oyston while he was banged up. A few years after that, he was pretty successful at Bolton, so, I think he may have got under Silva's skin a bit here !
