Surely the wording of the statement rules out Moyes. Bill probably wanted Moyes in the interim but Brands wants a permanent manager for stability, just got to get it right!

Get Rafael.

One can hope.

It depends what context they mean by permanent. Do they mean ‘long term permanent’ or ‘short term permanent’ due to Ferguson more than likely just being on a game by game basis.

Even his sacking was drawn out past the point it was interesting.

God knows who jumps on our managerial merry go round now.

But good riddance.

He was never really here he was a lost soul from minute one without a single notable utterance from his Iberian chops and always looking like he had been summoned to the headmasters office suspected of nicking from the tuck shop.

Deffo one of the weirdest eras in our history

Not a patch on us having Big Sam as manager tbh - still shudder when I think about it!
Not only did Sam accomplish what he was brought in to do but we never gave him a chance once he did it. The only thing weird about Sam's tenure was the ingratitude by a section of the fanbase and Moshiri not being man enough to rise above it

He tried his best, it wasn't good enough. He should never have been appointed in the first place, and we can now consign the Silva era to the history books. Now we need to get the right man as the replacement. The board better get that next decision right.
