Correct decision. Now Kenwright, Moshiri et al stay the hell away from appointing the next manager and leave it 100% in Brand's hands!
How can anyone excuse Brand's part in this joke?

Back to square one. 18 months wasted as he should never even been considered for the job.
Who said I was excusing him?!How can anyone excuse Brand's part in this joke?
Unlike either Big Sam or Koeman I feel a tad sorry for him as he appeared a decent bloke but he clearly was in way over his head and hadn’t got a clue how to fix things, especially our defense or game management.
Now just have to nervously wait to see who his replacement is..,
I disagree but I’m too tired and fed up to argue it.Wouldn't say entirely square one as I think the squad is in a lot better position post Martinez.
Who said I was excusing him?!
Never being able to win a game when we fell behind indicated a huge issue with either tactics or team motivation - probably both.Aye, I'll give him his dues as he did try (trying 3-5-2 for example) and had some rotten luck with injuries. But by and large got it badly wrong tactically. It's not necessarily the shape, it's how far we pushed forward with slow centre backs, had players Ill suited to a high press, or just failed to manage games in both winning and losing positions.
Bye.
I think it's worse than this.Back to square one. 18 months wasted as he should never even been considered for the job.

The current squad is riddled with rubbish
It's his job! We know that Kenwright and Moshiri haven't got a clue. Who'd you suggest is in charge of the decision?!Well you're leaving picking the next manager to him. I'd have a serious issue with that given his track record on transfers. .

Hopefully Silva gets some rest and in time a deal at a new club where he can start afresh with a few lessons under his belt.
Hmmmmm? Not too sure about that.Wouldn't say entirely square one as I think the squad is in a lot better position post Martinez.
