ok mate lets see what the fans say if we dont win any of our first five. Moshiri has never been shy to pull the trigger.
Mate ffs just stop wetting yourself for once..

I wasn't a massive fan of Silva coming in myself.. but I fully appreciate the bloke has got a big job on his hands here. All you're doing is sticking the knife into him at every 'opportune' moment and that's before his first season has even officially started..

Frankly it's a bit pathetic.

called it ages ago, he will rival Santini or maybe even De Boer for quickest departure.

The start of the season is 'easy' - he fails to win any of his first 5 - possible the way things are going - hes 50/50 to get through October.
And here is your M.O..... you didn't fancy him before a ball was kicked and therefore no matter what you will look for the negatives. FFS have a word.

ill admit i never wanted him, but lets be honest no one did apart from Moshiri who is on a vanity trip.

Which is why we are already at the 'just back the manager ffs' shouts at this early stage.

We will see how he does when the season starts - still too early to say, but there are clear warning signs the Marco is who failed to win a game in his last 11 games at Watford is the real Marco!
Is there? The players he's brought in have done fine so far. The issue is clearly the defence, which has now been through 4 managers, with little to no improvement. Silva and Brands are clearly trying to address this, as can be seen by Williams being binned off, Holgate being given number 2, and our continued interest in CBs.

It's bound to take more than one season to rebalance our bloated, aged squad.

lets just back the manager yeah?

Surprisingly enough the answer to that is "yes". He's had 2 signings bought for him and has had about 6 players cleared out. Are you expecting him to turn Keane into beckenbauer and to reverse the aging process on jags legs?

Already you can see the positives in attack. Just calm yourself down and forget your agenda for a few months.

hes won no pre season games, if he then goes on to win none of his first 5 we are bang in the relegation zone. If you saw how the fanbase quickly turned on Martinez and Koeman after decent starts, imagine how long this fella will get before the knives are out
Cant see that happening.
