Sorry mate for not being clear, is not the other executive the DOF Brands atm. Would not want BK any where near this stuff now and who is our CEO, lost me on that one.

I support Brands, want him to stay. I think he has on the whole done a good job. One can go on forever looking at individual players pointing fingers at who signed who or who selected the player to be signed. We have had some excellent signings and yes we had some awful ones - swings and roundabouts.

I accept your thinking on Brands, that is what the forum is about, we all have different opinions on many issues.

I was just commenting on that particular aspect of it really. Yours happened to be the post that prompted my response, but there have been lots of people saying ‘you can’t have Carlo wasting time negotiating deals’ as if that’s what would be happening if we didn’t have a DoF, it’s weird.

Very true, both men talk together and have no doubt Carlo has some influence on fees and Brands some on selection. They are a team I think Carlo has intimated that in interviews now and again.
