Subs have done well tonight, I’m buzzing with that. Fingers crossed we see the game out.
It doesn’t detract from the fact we had 7 out of 9 players on the bench, with 2 of them being GKs.
We also have another game on Saturday after playing 120 minutes, so could have done with some more players to help out.

....still no word on a new contract, so here’s a theory without any inside knowledge or any basic reasoning:
‘Davide Ancelotti is lined up to be Everton manager at the end of his Dad’s tenure. A new young manager will require a DoF he knows, trusts and can lean on. A new DoF suggested by Ancelotti’s is incoming.’

23 24 players taking into account 3 goalkeepers is probably enough for a normal season...and as long as you don't have too many players with regular injuries...currently we have 23...bearing in mind delph and gbamin are not going to play much if any this season. If we do qualify for europe 24 players will not be enough more so that we don't really have too many youngsters we can call up for the senior squad
