Lowered the wage bill, lowered the average age of the squad, whilst improving the overall quality of it.

He’s set up scouting networks that will hopefully bear fruit in years to come.

He’s just starting work on the academy and plans to have every team from the under 8s, right through to the first team, and even the women’s teams playing the same type of football as it creates a better pathway for young players.

He’s doing a lot of good things and he’s probably the only person I trust at the club at the moment.

I was falling foul of the swear filter last week when I was having to refer to the black radical comedian as Richard Gregory.
I learned very recently that you cannot even replace a letter in a curse word with a * because it's "obvious" what you meant, or some other nonsense. Got me banned for another week  to the delight of many

Please eleborate for those of us who dont have a clue what that means specifically.

Sorry mate, but that is not correct. The reason warnings are given for avoiding the swear filter are because the google search engine witchcraft treats asterixs as swear words.

Its also a bit off a piss take of the rules as well.

Cant be quoted enough this:

"You don’t expect someone like Brands to blame others for failing players whose talent he himself misjudged…I fear for the position of the Portuguese trainer Marco Silva at Everton. Brands is better at looking in the mirror instead of covering up his mistakes and blaming others."

Former Dutch international Wim Kieft.

An obvious issue is the mental fragility of the squad, and that includes most, if not all, of the signings since Brands tenure.

It seemed that much research was put into all of the signings so it seems to me a clear problem at this point as to why this particular trait of ours in folding too often under pressure and lack of on-field leadership doesn't look like it has been addressed at all, and appears to be deteriorating yet further.

Gomes seems a particular case in point, wonderful at home the week before, and largely anonymous and flapping about at Brighton.

His prior history was well documented at Barca, he couldn't leave the house at one point.

Brands would need to explain that one in my book.

On a separate note, if Brands' remit is as all-encompassing as it seems, he should issue a diktat against these silly "We're all fighting together / things will come good" type tweets. Let the talking be done on the pitch.

So...you hoping Brands holds his hands up and gives Silva another season?

Or you want Brands out?
Silva to stay?

So it's the players that brands signed that has led to Silva achieving

Worst for conceding set pieces over 3 clubs.

Identical win loss ratio

Never winning when conceding first over three clubs?

Playing a team largely consisting of players that were not brands signings.

Mate Silva is hanging himself here , you could give him the best 11 in world football and he would still struggle with these things. Just like giving Moyes the league champions and finishing.....5th, again.

Keep blaming brands and holding him Accountable for everything. Because it will be be brands that keeps losing games, playing the same team with the same formation.

Keep blaming him when Silva has us midtable in the championship next season. He can't be at fault for anything it seems
