He's not made a Bolasie, Klassen, Sandro (£120k a week still) etc type signing so...I'm off his back.

But he has failed to bring in a CB, going after zouma when it was clear Chelsea wouldn't sell and had a transfer ban anyway, zaha was a shambles, a striker for the future when we needed someone now, going after doucoure and then giving up.
Then of course the embarrassment of going after smalling and Rojo, stank of small time that did. Leaving everything too the last minute.

He has to take some of the heat aswell as Silva. Why did he leave things so late in the day

Hes signed + sold/loaned an enormous number of players. However, its not been enough.

Its always been the case that the rebuild after Koeman would take several seasons. At this moment our starting 11 really lacks a spine of CB / CM / CF and those 3 players have to be either top notch players and leaders or players who can develop into stars.

Either Kean/DCL/Richarlison hit the heights over this season or he needs to sign all three of those players in Jan and summer.

I think were only 50% through the squad rebuild.

I think you're spot on. A true rebuild needs probably 6 windows. Which for Everton means 4 managers.

Only thing brands is to be blamed for is not sacking Silva after burnely .

I do blame brands for this horror show continuing every week on the basis he hasn't got rid of the manager

But I still trust him 100% Moshiri too. But even if we manage win Watford tomorrow Silva is dead man walking in my books. We need a proper manager.

can Brands sack a manager? I guess maybe since we're expecting him to hire one, but I thought only Moshiri could give him the axe

I was over the moon at the Kean signing, but it was a Brands failure to put our striker needs in the hands of a 19-year-old in a new country. He should have gotten someone who could play & score from day 1

None of these factors cause us being 4th from bottom after 10 games.

We'd still concede from every cross and set piece going though.

And that CB would only be a back up CB.

Serious questions have got to be asked IMO.

The Smalling and Rojo debacle was reminiscent of the bad old days when we were shopping in the Whoopsie aisle under Moyes.
