He became a billionaire by fronting up organisations for an Uzbek *cough* businessman *cough*.

That's all he is: a useful front of shop employee.

Whatever Dave ... he’s put himself in the 1% which means he knows a lot more than you and me about money. The point still stands , his wealth increases on a daily basis and has done for years

So do lottery winners. And those who inherit fortunes.

That said, I don't think he's quite as naive a businessman as he's being painted to be. I just don't think he's a particularly shrewd one.

The same could be said of MS and Brands. I don't think either are particularly bad at their jobs. But neither should be trusted implicitly, given their results so far either.

More than one problem area at the club right now.

Brands starting to show the gulf from running a Eredivise club to a Premier League one is massive.

In the summer window he looked out of his depth and his backing of Silva has been shambolic especially considering he signs a Striker who feeds on through balls whereas the manager's main style of attack is crosses into the box from out wide - chalk and cheese.

The inevitable next manager appointment will make or break Brands imo. Get this wrong and he's done with alot of the fans.

He didn’t win the lotto tho did he and I would also say that a lotto winners wealth wasn’t necessarily getting bigger daily before the win and after the win I would be inclined to think it would go down after some large spending. He’s a self made billionaire so whatever way anyone tries to paint him he has been extremely successful. MS I disagree with , he is not ok at his job imo, not if we are talking prem league standard or even championship standard if I’m honest, I really don’t see any strengths in him if I’m honest with myself, maybe that some of our players (Keane mainly) have improved and maybe that was down to coaching but after that I start to run out of stand out qualities for him. Brandsat least has history of overseeing two clubs winning trophies while constantly selling and recruiting young players and we seem to be concluding deals that imo we wouldn’t have been without him here, so the jury is still out but I think he will be judged as a success in a couple of years when all the Walsh signings are gone

Daveks point is worthy of more investigation than simply admiring wealth. Money doth not a person make. What inspires people to want more when they have enough? Discuss.

TBF there isn't going to be a single managerial appointment that is universally liked by everyone so it'd be a damned if he do, damned if he don't case regardless. The only way it would is a blockbuster name that breaks from Everton tradition and they would take a whole lot of convincing to come here, think of how different the landscape of our club would have looked like had we appointed a then not Sir Bobby Robson or Brian Clough in the 70's?

I thought the DoFs role was to implement a philosophy and way of playing and then identifying the players to play in it. Do you really think that Brands would identify Kean and then accept the manager play totally different tactics?

It was said that is is “ funny” how his wealth has increased since he bought us, I was just saying that his wealth would be increasing regardless seeing as it has been increasing for years

Is there a list of successful notables who Brands brought to PSV? And expensive failures.

Subjective, I know, but we could compare and then assess his time here.
I know it took PSV 3 managers in Brands's first 3 years, incl. 1 mid-season switch to the 4th manager (Cocu I think), who then stayed and won 3(?) titles

Prior to EFC can you name one company where moshiri has been the front man?

Just one Dave?
