The reality is, players playing for the top teams always have a premium, and always did since the United days.

When you look at some of the deals, 15 for Mori, 10 for Klaassen, 10 for Rooney I don't think is too bad!

We've bought a tonne of rubbish under Koeman and Walsh and put them on huge contracts. It's going to be very difficult to move a to of them on. I'd say he's made a pretty valiant effort. If his own signings flop, thats when questions need to be asked.

Mori £8M; Klaassen £12M; Rooney no fee.

It's much less acute than that, and we shouldn't be handing a man who is paid to bring cash in as well as spend cash a blank cheque to simply giveaway players we no longer require.
