Aren't I just expecting/demanding what his apostles say he can do?

No way would the previous people in his position would have been able to sign Digne, Mina Gomes or prob. I honestly would save your fume mate. If one thing his first window told us, its that he operates under radio silence. Richarldson aside, no one had a clue who he was working on.

It's just planning, he doesn't think he can get value for money in jan and teams are reluctant to let quality players go, he probably thinks we are on the right trajectory and where we should be and wants to be more prudent so he can get the right players for the right price in summer. Either that or we are buying another Cenk for silly money.

You might be right thinking about it. Point remains that I would bet not one player he signs, (if he does), this window will be trailed on BBC Gossip etc etc.
