He and the club were right to sit on their hands this window though, it’s a pox of a window.

Disappointing though he couldn’t negotiate, out deals though, he’s not great at that.

Well Gbamin we haven't seen much of yet and Kean has started slower than most would have liked, We haven't gotten value this season out of them but next season might be different.

I'd always look at signing foreign players as a 2 season thing. A year to bed In and 2nd season up and running. So kean not ripping the league up in his first 6 months, especially at his age is neither here nor there. So many great foreign players take a year to get going.

I'd like to think of it like , if you spend a reasonable amount then you give them a reasonable amount of time. Of you spend big then they do need to come in running so go speak.

He let down the admittedly useless Silva in the summer by inexplicably not trying to sign at least 1 quality/leader of a CH or a goal scorer and letting our best player leave for tiny money.
He is now letting down the confirmed brilliant manager Ancelloti by not attracting even one of what surely would have been a long list handed to him by the manager.
Goodness knows what people are expecting in the summer???
Maybe 1 or 2 high profile names and a handful of gambles/youngsters who won’t be ready.
We will not be making up the big number of points (look up how far away we have been recently) needed to finish 6th. We are in for more years of mediocre dross with a gutless bunch of players and frankly dumbfounding DOF.

He's a DM who can move to CM later in the match, he wins most challenges and likes to carry the ball forward out of trouble instead of passing backwards. But besides those things we have been missing, yeah, completely pointless.

He’s signing from Belgium and wasn’t cheap. Maybe see if he’s actually any good in England before saying there’s value to be had in the January window.
