Mancini rules out Rodwell

If he's impossible to sign then why are you talking about him, you phoney Italian shithouse?

The new Newcastle could set some records on the bell level in these current few years.

He'll probably breeze into Goodison with his olive oil hair and guinea charm, and expect some Dolmio and Rodwell served in a white suit and slip ons with no socks.

Hahaha, kopite logic.

We shall all cycle to work until they stop buying our players"

But I live 30 miles away"

Shanks would be turning in grave lad"

You're right, cycling it is, YNWA"

Feeling a lot of love for this post.

Kudos, Chico

I would think that City would have to pull Rodwell from David Moyes' cold dead fingers. He knows he needs youth, and unless City puts up an obscene amount of money (and it would have to be obscene, even by City's standards), I think this is dead in the water. Rodwell = the future as everyone has said. Plus, I would think Jack realizes he needs some veterans to help his game improve and learn - and even with all the talent at City, I don't see any of them being a mentor figure, do you? They are too busy spending their millions. Jack is young and still needs coaching, and with the lack of mentors at City and a manager that doesn't give off the warm fuzzies, this seems like it'd be a disaster in terms of fit.

As for LD, the Galaxy clinched their playoff spot. So watch LD's behavior (and MLS' marketing) during the playoffs - aka theoretically "Landon's farewell tour."

Bad news you're giving me about LD/City, LCAB, bad news. Hope he beats them off.

I like Coleman too - but I think he needs some more games at RM before we give him a ringing endorsement there. This isn't his original position after all. A combo of him at RB + a returning LD could be GLORIOUS. Or him at RM and LD at forward in a 4-4-2.

Only passing on what I heard , love .

As you will note , I said , I FEEL that he'll still come , but we need to sort our League position .

Ill have tenner with the pair of yous that , by May we ALL feel different .

Just my opinion , like , but he'll be the Knight on the White Charger , will arl Bill Hickock .

Stand on me .

Fuk re-sale . Case in point , Pienaar .

Carpe diem .

I like how you roll, lcab.

LD is a winner. And given how short his stay with Everton was, ya'll didn't get to see all he can do. I dream of how effecive and dangerous he could be for the Toffees given time to really, really gel with the team and for the manager to use him to all his strengths. He's a very intelligent player.

I am really hoping the Galaxy win the MLS Cup this year and that they can get some kind of assurance of signing Ronaldhino or another big name. If one or both of those things happen, I think they'll be more inclined to let LD go.

Thanks for the info, lcab. Despite City trying shenanigans, I truly believe if Everton can come up with the money, LD would sign in a heartbeat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

And here's to hoping Everton start turning things around. With where they are, the only way to go is up!
