I'm still wondering why a City fan and Utd fan are having it out on an Everton forum, it is a bit surreal
We're like Switzerland, neutral territory.

Kinda like the Relate of football forums. We can help @PaulPowersTash and @anxiouswarrior come together and express the manlove they clearly have for each other in a more appropriate manner.

The thing with these protests is, if you asked all of them what they wanted, apart from a generic "Glazers Out", you'd get a different answer from each of them.

It certainly isn't this idea of a fans co-operative 50%+1 ownership, I don't know any set of fans that would want that and expect to be competitive relative to their peers at the same time.

There are ridiculous double standards at play here, and perpetuated by the media yet again.

Utd fans would happily sign up to a Russian oligarch/Sheikh who poured money into the club, but that's no problem because I'm sure they would really "care" about the fans into the bargain.

I'm not aiming this at Utd fans specifically either.

The attitude seems to be that as long as we're rich, theres absolutely nothing to see here.

In fairness mate, I think the United fans have been quite vocal about the 50+1 model and there were a lot of signs for it.

Just about sums them up mate.

In fairness Souness has had a lot of that coming. The "scouse c***" bit is just inaccurate but Souness has said far more damaging things about black footballers.

Harsh on Carragher really. It seems like it was one idiot though, and nobody else was really joining in. Carragher just seemed to laugh it off, which is sort of what you'd do in those situations.

city and their fans should be enjoying their success even if it is from petrodollars , they have a really good team and will probably win the CL , but for a lot them there is a ranting bizarre obsession with United that goes beyond football rivalry and banter , they see themselves as paragons of virtue against an Evil Empire which is completely ridiculous

Glad to be in the final but we were poor tonight in 2nd half and it could easily have got very dodgy , i suppose winning the 1st leg 6-2 meant a bit of c0omplacency , telles and williams were awful when they came on 2nd half , in the final we need to be on our game Villareal are a good team and they have a good manager, it will be a difficult game
