It went off because the stewards manhandled some girl . Bad move . Everyone piled in and I mean everyone . I had a great view of it all . Nobody seemed to care yesterday , people fighting with the police & stewards , openly smoking green in full view of police & stewards etc , lifting food

Downstairs at halftime when the riot cops filed through they looked scared to me . I think if something had happened down there they would have had a major situation to control as the amount of lads we had in attendance was very large .

I was surprised to hear of trouble yesterday, as we normally get on ok with the mancs,
:P
but I can see why there were issues if the stewards were being naughty.

Are our away fans normally rowdy?

i know someone who works for the security company in the office and she reckons we are always a nightmare to control and possibly the worst that visit. nobody seemed to care yesterday, i was surrounded by lads who wouldnt have hesitated, i was dreading it as my lad would never want to go again if it went off around us.....not that mrs b.o.g. would ever let me take him again if it did, a point she made clear when he told her about what he had seen.
there are a lot of lads ready for it at aways but there are also a lot of kids in our end as well which the coppers dont seem to be arsed about. i have to say though that when going in, the stewards were great and stepped aside for us and did their best not to make the lad feel uneasy, one even apologised for patting me down.

gutted.

more money down the pan.

although in the period since getting my tickets i have been fearing a bigger drubbing.

it all went a bit 80's in there as well with the lids singing the song that we shouldn't sing before the game, i commented that it was one way to guarantee a kicking, ces security have a lot of ushoiteds former bad lads as employees, it's my guess that it was those that arrived to kick off during the game, the lids didn't back down though and when the coppers arrived they seemed to take a kickin as well(all video'd).

there was even a chorus of 'the song' during the game, to the ushoited fans we are no better than r/s, it really shouldn't be sang these days. just stick to givin' it to the fat little knobhead.

another nothing performance where damage limitation seems to be the tactic as there was nothing upfront until the yak came on.

I take it its the Runway song you are referring to Reidy I couldnt hear it. Having said that I was on the Stretford end. I just hope it was a minority as it does noone any credit. That orrible song seems to be creeping back as Stoke were at it the other week

To be honest most of the United fans I know ( Real ones) have a lot of empathy with Evertonians expecially the mutual dislike of your wonderful neighbours who I hope you stuff next week.

On the other side of the coin our support trawled out the usual songs about Scousers its a ******* obsession with some of our support and embarrassing bearing in mind that we have loads of great songs celebrating Manchester United (y)

i found it embarrasing and hoped my lad didnt ask for an explanation of what it was about.
the stewards seemed to go in heavy and were bowling people down the steps, thats when it all went off, i texted a manc mate in the stretford end and he said, "good, tell them to knock the [Poor language removed] out of the stewards" as they are very disliked by the ushoited fans. the cops came back with full helmets on in the 2nd half as they didnt have them on when they seemed to take a battering.

Hate them arseholes to a man

They darent set foot in tier 2 of the Stretford end seriously they have tried it a few times and got ******* off

yeah, thats the one, most of your lot would've been happy to see the security gettin bowled back out of the seats though, it was a game against us years ago when the place erupted with united fans wading into the security guys all over the stadium. my mates who sit in the stretford hate 'em and blame them for whenever they cant get away tickets, as they say they come round taking seat numbers and blackball you.

there was an atmos that couldve turned very nasty last night in our end.

The lads I have spoken to since trhe game are delighted that you gave those lot a kicking we hate them

Any reason why the Munich song was sung mate was it provoked was it a minority who sung it

it was the young ones before the game downstairs, but then after it kicked off it was sang again, and quite a few joined in.

[Poor language removed] happens blame the Security tossers and a few scrotes I reckon

Going back a few years I remember the immaculate way in which the Everton supporters observed the minute's silence for Sir Matt at Old Trafford shortly after his death

Anyway good luck next week mate (y)

we need it every week at the moment.
for the first time in yonks we've got no drive, direction or shape and they just have to be in worse shape than us, ffs we cant have nothin though without them bashtards copyin'.
