I don’t know - the rules they broke are unprecedented and not limited to a fine/points deduction like us.

This ownership and governance from their owners and our own lovely government makes this very very delicate IMO.

I can’t see them wanting to harm that - a £200m fine and a transfer ban would be welcomed and easily digested by them, it would sink other clubs without a trace. They will implement a deal that causes them little to no consequence I bet.

This is the danger of clubs being owned by nation states and extremely powerful individuals. The premier league are out of their depth and won’t want to end up involved in any diplomatic tensions.
