My boss is a City fan and proudly stated that he's supported them since 2010.

Took everything in me to hold my tongue.

I have a work colleague who thankfully is the exact opposite.
Stopped following them after one season of the take over. Still talks about away days and Gillingham 1999.Has absolutely zero interest in this City version.
Top fella as well.

Lots of City mates, all say exactly the same, same with their Ald fellas.

The 'big 6' are no longer clubs of the purist fans. They are just merchandise clubs on the whole. Of course there are still the proper fans there, but they have been outnumbered considerably by the plastics and many cant even get tickets anymore.

Sad really; all historically big clubs with a steeped history (some grander than others). Watching Arsenal yesterday and the fans just made me feel a bit nauseous.

They've got their audience and theyll lap it up all day.
