Diame was good at Wigan, where is he now?.Think we've got a few Barry Hornes in the making. Joe Parkinson was a one off and badly missed but can you imagine our fans welcoming an ex Wigan battling midfielder.

We are not being protected. I knew right away that ball was over the line in real time. Why didn't the ref, he didn't see it, bollocks.
It's not worth investing your life in football until cameras come in, i can take a defeat and the best team wins on the day, but not when decisions keep going against you. You can say this is Martinez fault or blame the players, but football can change in a second. It's hard enough to beat a title chasing team when the ref doesn't make it a fair game. Could be punishment for speaking out against of his friends. If we had a lineman behind the goal, thee would be no choice but to rule it out.
For me tonight isn't the problem, But the Swansea game was a prime example how bad we have become, we can't even get results against the lower side. I can't see it changing much under Martinez, no results are consistent with him we may do well with a draw in the league at city then lose at home to Swansea who didn't even play very well.I honestly don't think I'll ever see Everton win anything
Not blaming Martinez for that tonight. City were just too good for us
They bring Kevin De Bryune on as a substitute.
We bring on Kone
Of course they beat us
It was a brave effort - class goal by Ross to give us a chance, but Leon in the middle, Stones at RB, nowt sticking up front to Rom - wasn't ideal and City were good let's face it, Aguero is some player. Honestly thought the players did well, but we needed some luck to withstand City coming on strong and we didn't get it. Injustice of the second goal seemed to hurt the team and we looked to wilt a bit.
Took our 7yo so a bit of an Everton baptism - I'd like to tell him it gets better, but failing that it at least beats the hell out of supporting a charade like City.
Respect to the Blue behind me in the Colin Bell stand - singing non-stop after Ross scored, on his own - NEA. Escorted out by the stewards so I hope he got back in.
Rockall is probably your best bet for avoiding them mate.I booked a hotel in London the weekend of the final... bit of a gamble really.
I'll still go but will appreciate any London blues telling me which areas will be teeming with dirty kopites so that I can steer clear of them.

Why though did we totally give up trying when we only needed 1 goal, to get us back in it.Sensible, measured post.
Think Osman played well in the first half, but tired quickly. Though RM's subs were also correct - as he wanted to get Rom in the game more and usually Kone offers that hold up play - in fact he did.
Second goal threw us and we never recovered - then a bit of top class play from two top class players did for us.
