Well you'd think put someone on him to follow him around and the others close down any service.

But this is Martinez, who doesn't think about defence one little bit!
wouldve been nice for besic to do that like he did against messi in the WC, although I think Martinez wouldve put him on Silva to cut off service. Midfield is going to be a tough ask without McCarthy or Besic to partner barry

I wish I could be more excited and I know we are trophy starved but its only the league cup. It's not even the most important cup in the country.

Winning it is not going to make this a good season. It won't keep or attract ambitious players. There's no prize money worth mentioning. Bobby will keep his job and we will be in the Europa league again which provides next seasons excuse.

I still hope we win but we need to see it for what it is. A minor cup. 4th place is far more important and beneficial these days

I sympathise with your feelings of deja vu mate but a Wembley final is a Wembley final. You are right it's not he "real cup" and it is not the be all and end all but it is a Wembley final and an excuse to make a weekend of it and we don't exactly set up shop in those big occasion games.

I want to win it though of course would drop it for the real cup in may

After today....not sure I can even to bare to listen to the commentary on Wed.....
It's the hope that kills you..... might wait till full time and read the reaction.

I'm not superstitious but I'm going for 3rd time lucky here.

By that, I'm mean, in recent memory I can think of two 2 legged ties that we have won the first game at home 2-1 and have then been trounced away in the second leg (Lisbon & Kiev) so hopefully this time we get it right.
