I just can't grasp how someone can commit such an act surrounded by kids. They've done no harm to anyone, they are of no threat. And someone wants to hurt them like this. Words fail me.

Don't agree I'm afraid. I'm afraid they are Muslim. Whether they follow the correct principles is a diff matter. But they are recruited at mosques or Islamic websites and I'd bet nearly 100% of muslim family members wouldn't report it if they suspected a family member was being radicalised.

Only when that attitude changes can all communities eradicate it

Not really sure why you would think this

I will literally explode if the bbc do their usual of allowing family and friends to lecture us with tales of what a great kid the bomber was, no one could have foreseen this, we are shocked, he was deep down a wonderful lad, wouldn't hurt a fly etc etc. Pure unadulterated nonsense. He's a scumbag and I hope he suffers for eternity.

Given the incident, a really poor choice of words. Maybe have a think before starting insensitive rants about things that haven't happened.

What like Sean Mercer and his family covering up? Does that mean all scouse families would cover up crimes?

I'd bet you 100% that 99.999999999% Muslim families would. You've got some stereotype here from somewhere, not sure where, but you have.

The problem is you're so far from being correct, it's sickening.

I'd suggest you take a good hard look at what being Muslim is all about, because I sadly think you're lacking the knowledge of what ISIS is, and how it's not every single Muslim.

Grow up you idiot. If you can't be bothered taking part in a discussion then jog on.

No idea why you brought Sean mercer into this it's of no relevance

Your dislike for muslims shines through in everything you've posted so far.

Give it a rest you bigot.

Unbelievable! I have many Muslim friends! How me saying the Muslim community have to be the ones to solve it means I hate them I have no idea.

Get off your soap boxes and stop being offended by any different opinion

I removed the comment as I don't want to go down that route in this thread, think you should show a bit of respect and give it a rest.

I'm very clearly indulging you, do not sure why you're resorting to insulting me.

The reason why I've brought Sean mercer into it because he's one scumbag, who deserves to rot in hell. His parents covered for him. But it's one bad egg, not every scouser is a criminal and not everyone's parents would cover up.

One Muslim or Islamic State radical, had committed a crime, and the result isn't to slag off the entire Muslim race, isn't to put pressure on one group of people, it's to unite, act united as one and importantly against a very increasing risk of terrorism.

The reason I'm biting is your view on the entire religion is tarred by a very very small monitory, and that doesn't sit well with me.

thus is always the recruitment tool for extremism of all varieties.

Bingo. Nailed it. Take people who feel marginalized and make them feel special and important. In the past it could have been communism or nazism or whatever. Make them feel like they belong.

Again. I haven't called every Muslim a bad person have I? All I'm saying is the Muslim community isn't doing enough to tackle these lunatics and ONLY the Muslim community will beat them.

Why only Muslim? This person was born in the U.K., why isn't the British community doing more? This man is known by police to potentially be dangerous, so why aren't they doing enough?
It's not reasonable to put the blame on Muslims, it's like you're blaming them for a radical defy the laws and the belief of their country.

I get that you're frustrated, this is, without doubt the most cowardly of attacks, it's targeted at a concert where it's majority kids, and we've witnessed such heartache, but we see it in America with fellas running into schools and murdering innocent pupils, is there an outcry that Catholics should be doing more? No.

Consistency, if there's consistency, then fine, but there rarely is.

..I live very close to Alder Hey hospital and there has been plenty of helicopter activity throughout the day. Suspect the health authorities are supporting each other.

Not really sure what the police can do. He would be on a watch list but living in a democratic country means until he commits a crime they can't do anything.

But I would think in the mosque the immam and other clerics would probably be privy to his views or his isolation
