I used to despise Tommy Robinson till I listened to what he was saying he's against Sharia law & radical Islam however the media have pigeon holed him as a rascist (despite Islam not being a race) and a bigot which is why most people don't bother listening to what he says and also why most people will dislike this comment ...
He is a bigot.

"Do one lad"? Lol aright I'll look forward to it

Don't mean any offense btw and I have no agenda I just have my opinions and they have changed completely over the last couple of years but yeah maybe not the time and the place.
No it certainly is not the time or place.

Thin ice mate.

As an aside, to mods who noticed and probably let it slide, I still apologise for my language last night.

Shocking. Big fan of the City of Manchester as spent a lot of time working there. Not surprised to see the reaction of hotels, taxi drivers, local residents offering their help and homes to people in need.

Also lots in Liverpool and the Wirral on twitter last night offering lifts to Manchester for those who needed it.

Number of good people outweighs the number of bad in these situations.

Thoughts are with those affected, which feels horribly insufficient given the circumstances.

Edit: For those with an inclination to help, here's something that might have a practical consequence for the affected.

If only we were all as open minded as you eh mate.

Just hearing of all this now, shocked and saddened, this person (for want of a better word) has waited until they can cause maximum carnage and had no thought at all that this was an artist that would attract youngsters and families including children.

This type of thing always brings out the good in people and the tragedy is slightly offset hearing of the goodwill and rallying of the public.

My heart goes out to those who have been affected by this and my thoughts are especially with those families who have not heard from their loved ones since last night, I hope against hope that they are given some good news soon.

Takes me back to the last Manchester bombing my parents were meant to be going to Manchester that day but I wanted the new Everton top so they went to Liverpool instead.

Feel so sad for the parents watching their children go to a concert and not come home. Utterly devastating and sickening.

I am as upset as anyone right now but labelling an entire religion as bad because of the actions of a few doesn't help at all.

Its easier said than done mate. Mass surveillance only works against known terror groups and cells, for all we know this could have been a lone wolf attack which are very difficult to try and prevent through surveillance
Yes - I agree it could be a lone wolf - but I would like less disclosure from the Government about what they do.

I didn't tell my wife about this last night as she needed to sleep, of course she was in tears this morning. Having lived through terror attacks back in the 70's and 80's (different terrorists, same results) she told me she couldn't face seeing it all happen again. It hit her badly. Thoughts with the families and friends of those poor kids who suffered for no reason other than they were there at the wrong time...........

No words. Reading the story of the first victim...words can't do justice to that emotion. Can't even comprehend how her parents feel.

My partner had a cousin there last night. She's safe, which is a blessing but even the survivors will be affected by this for the rest of their lives.
