Its 86m over 3 windows Dave.
No. it's not. He's had £250M in his hand to spend on players, no matter where the source of that came from, and he's bought literally one good player in Luca Digne.

He's an absolute wrercking ball to this club's finances. At least when Koeman was throwing the other £200M down the toilet we all agreed that he'd spent out on utter tripe and it was a mess and he had to go; the danger with this feller Brands is that most still give him the beenefit of the doubt and, therefore, he's still in a position to waste hundreds of more million on the same rubbish he's been bringing in.

Full time job at Everton.

....I think it’s looking almost inevitable. Silva is the type of manager who’s team can go on a good run, but you can see from these pages that the atmosphere at the game is likely to be hostile. The Watford game will be a bit different, though, and it’s vital for him to win that as it could breed a bit of belief on and off the pitch.
Win tomorrow and against Watford and it’s all rosey in the garden.

If we fail to arrest the slump though and lose both then he’s away. That is in no doubt.

1 good player is probably the hottest take ive ever read.

And to be honest its very hard to even argue with such delusion, so yeah.

86m over 3 years, each player a baller.

We do have ambition it's not been realised but it's still there. How was he a failure in his first season after taking over from Sam?

Fair enough if you feel that way. I just disagree. I think if we had real ambition to break that top six, he wouldn’t have been hired in the 1st place. He wouldn’t have even been considered.

Once that had occurred, he would have been gone before he had the chance to finish 8th and pot-less, being embarrassed in both cups, after outspending the majority of Europe’s elite clubs. I don’t define that as acceptable and neither should you.

With those things in mind, he would have been out on his tuchus LONG before he got the chance to make the embarrassing start we’ve had.

I want him gone mate didn't want him, but I was prepared to give him the 1st season, we did show signs in games last season back end but this season's start has been really poor.

If there was an outstanding candidate who would be guaranteed to join us I'd say yeah get him gone. Just don't want another situation like after Koeman where we play under a caretaker whilst searching for someone, anyone .

Agree +++
From my slightly detatched view down here on the south coast I've found it incredible that people talk about Mourinho and the like as possible candidates.
I'd so love to be proved wrong but really guys, get real.

It's not just stick or twist. Who we end up with would still be a gamble imo, and we're not on a winning streak.
Of course we could adopt the addicts rational that a winners just around the corner, just one more punt.

More chance of a Beatles reunion in my opinion
