Worked really hard in work this week. The boss noticed me at last on Thursday and called me into his office about ten minutes before the office shut on Thursday, put his arm around me and sent me on a quick errand - sadly when I got there it was too late - the Trattorio Atalanta was shut - so I had to slope back to the office with nothing for him - I can tell you Purplexed Ronny was NOT pleased - he had a right go at some of the lads before we were sent home.

Today I think he really likes me.. Maybe I'll get a good 6 month review.. or perhaps I'll be transferred to another branch. Anyway, the boss gave me a call about 10 minutes from the end and asked me to cover for Wayne (his blue eyed boy) as, apparently Wayne had to dash off for an important meeting tomorrow and needs to get ready.

Rooney worked hard. Davies was lively in the second half. Cuco way better than Baines, the latter should really retire soon.

Positives - thought Tom was really good and back to playing like he did last year with a bit of bite. Still not sure why he took him off to be honest.

Martina going forward was good. Martina going backwards wasn't. Attack the damn ball.

Played with better tempo and intent second half.
