Cheers Andy mate, looking for crumbs of comfort here amongst the wreckage, there was more effort although that is the bare minimum we should expect,we appeared to have a game plan and at least managed to create a couple of chances, however we've capitulated again from one down and I can't praise a 4-0 drubbing, gone for Davies myself, excellent display of high energy.

No one is saying he is our saviour and we know his best days are behind him. He is unfortunately still outshining most of our team currently and had a good game today. Have a look at the motm poll and quite a few agree. If you compare him to the younger Rooney then he is not a patch on him but still one of our better players and while he wears the bluer shirt I will not hold any bitterness towards him.
He does very little and what he does do he doesn’t do very well.

He can’t fonish, his passing is awry and he’s struggling to hold a ball up.

Let someone else play in that position.

Not unless a 10 year old wears nappies were you live, ok the late 90`s then possibly even 2001......

You need to get off the `giggle juice` .... Rooney can`t play more than 45 minutes he is finished ...

Mate you need to change from Bitter to Lager and calm down your hatred. I know he left us but that was a while ago....let it go as it's impairing your judgement.

For me, it all went wrong when Williams did something completely stupid (2-0) we could not clear a poor Lukaku free kick (3-0) and Schneiderlin left his arm behind for a pen (4-0).

Seven minutes of hell. Nothing much Rooney, Davies or Gana could have done to prevent it.
Disagree. If Gana had been on the pitch he would have come close and presented a short option for Williams to pass to. Look back at the replay, there is no Everton player within 20 metres of Williams which forces him to try and thread a forward ball past Fellaini. Horrible error, but where was Morgan??

Koeman has to stop playing favourites with Schneiderlin, he has been dire this season bar maybe 2 games, but he keeps starting and typically playing the full 90.

taking davies off was ok imo , he was looking more tired.

taking gana off was a mistake which left almost no midfield.
taking rooney off but not sigurdsson was a mistake. igurdsson just isn't up to pace.
the mirallas sub was a mistake , what could he offer that formation (whatever that formation was meant to be ?)

Williams is always a mistake waiting to happen.

we were much better attitude and performance today, but the team was a mess after the subs and that cost us, along with Williams's brain fart moment, then the team just collapsed again.

I said it before , but its going to be a long hard few months getting to January because we just are toothless up top.
its a damage limitation exercise this whole season and I honestly cant see one easy game.

whoever failed to bring in that striker by deadline day needs sacking and has left us with relegation as a real possibility imo.
cant score , easy to score against, its a dire situation.

crazy as it is,i actually thought that was our best performance lol, despite it been our worst defeat,up till the man utd 2nd which was there 1st shot on target,i actually though we might sneak a 1-1,but typical mistake for 2nd,3rd was not really a free kick which led to the tap in,and 4th was a bit lucky for pen,as you cant stop a slide without looking or moving your hand away, very undeserved defeat but another big one, next 4 games are ones we should win in all comps, but will we if a different question,,,LOOKMAN should be at least a sub as hes the only player with speed and causes problems every time he plays for me,

So that is what you call a difference of opinion?
Rooney finished has been for ages, Koeman got told he had to work with him so the board could flog Lukaku at the earliest opportunity
quick cash part ex deal that suited our `2nd hand car dealer ` joke of a board

Martina and Davies easily outperformed him.

Koeman might try and do that novel thing and play Sigurdsson in his correct position next game as well. Instead of sticking him out wide to fit Rooney in because he can’t play up front any more.
Davies had good game but Martina, really?!

Rooney was playing up front for most of the game. Sigurdsson wasn't playing out wide.

Was I watching the same game as you?

I said to my dad today, I don't know if prefer playing ok like today and still losing or getting a proper beating like the last few games.

In the end we had both today. FFS EVERTON.

I still have a tiny weeny bit of positivity in me. We'll still finish 7th. Doubt we'd get any higher as that would entail actually beating the teams above us which we simply can't do.
We gave up on finishing above 7th when we failed to replace Lukaku.
