The positive is that we played better than in the last few games.

Calling it for what it is, meaningless. Makes no difference how well you play if you lose 4-0. Good performances mean nothing, conceding goals means something though, at the end of the day that's goal number 10 conceded in just over a week and still nothing in return. That is how a team going down operates, regardless of who is on the pitch, right now.

However we wanted something more positive and we got something small to cling on to at least. We all expected to get beat today so from whst I gather keeping tabs on the game we had moments where we didn't look awful, which is a great start.

But at the end of the day we still let 4 in and still didn't score. Right now we have little to no attacking threat and a defence that concedes for fun. Change our name to Brighton or Huddersfield with that description and would you tell the difference in that respect 5 games into a season?

Decision has to be made before January though, if we're still [Poor language removed] and going into Feb, new manager can't bring anyone in.
Agree mate if results dont improve, but I just think it unfair to judge him based on results and performances against the best teams in the league.

Of course we were terrible against Atalanta too so I'm not blind to the issues we currently have. But January is the deadline I'd still give him to turn things around.

We played well Martina played great, Sandro looked good tested the keeper, Williams up-ended that big massive knobhead
If we had signed a decent striker like Koeman wanted to all window and before, could have been a different story rather than take Rooney uniteds
washed up has been, in a quick cash knock down deal that the board simply could not resist.
Rooney was terrible today gave the ball away and looked knackered Rom was off Koeman had to make do with Rooney in a cheap part ex deal not the managers fault

Rooney stood head and shoulders above any other of our players. Stop being bitter

Thing is we were terrible against Hadjuk, Ruzemborek as well but managed to get the job done.

Wow. Feel bad for you boys after that. Thought you played ok in parts and actually kept the ball but that capitulation at the end killed any optimism.

We've not been great so far this season either but I feel we have a few more goals in us. The player that disappointed me today was Sigurdsson, made no impact at all

Do most Ev fans want Koeman gone or should he get time to let all these new players gel?

Personally needs time but needs to get a shift on or the fanbase will turn. All that money spent and no pace or goal threat is the biggest concerns. Oh and no set style of play, heads drop easily, no reaction to losing, rubbish at set pieces, negative, no passing/crosses/shots . Other than that ok!
