1. Get Lukaku back at CF with Naismith ghosting behind him
2. Hope that Oviedo can handle more of an inital workload then he should have to burden right now.
3. get Eto at least 20 min/game

It depends what you mean by "season". Any hopes of Champions League, yes, gone, utterly gone, but can still do well in Europe if we get our arses into gear. But the lack of Plan B from Martinez is terrifying - we seem to be relying on the opposition backing off than imposing our own game and adapting.

I have no words for how terrible Lukaku has been either. Yeah you can make excuses for him not getting goals due to service, but his first touch and movement are not even Premier League standard, nevermind £28m standard.
Generally a top 5 finish, even top 6 if you're generous.

I'd say we would be lucky to make the top 8 and the new target is top 10.

Just on record by meaning when I say this season is in the bin.

Another match were i never felt we were in trouble when they had the ball yet just was waiting for a cock up on our side.

Praying ross is close to a comeback after the international break, trying to stay calm for another couple of matches especially with them being against easier opponents, but these lapses in concentration are seriously starting to grate on me.

Get a load of points in the next few games and get back in to the top half. Could do with winning the FA Cup really couldnt we

Difference was the keepers for me, howard with the worst goal keeper clearance ever (they should award him an assist for their second goal) and de gea with a peno save and two worldies in the second half.

We are in trouble this season. We only seem to up our game when the chips are down and in doing so pick up serious injuries.
I am not sure how much longer I would give Martinez tbh, we are into October and so far we look a bottom 6 side.

We have no Plan A why worry about a Plan B

I thought we played a great second half...like the All Blacks last night vs South Africa. Take the loss on the chin...a lot of football to go this season.
How long do we have to keep taking losses on the chin before we start to realise that we're in trouble, with a manager who has lost the plot?

Bring on Osman instead of eto when behind sums up our season and our tactics. Howard poor again. Needs to be dropped to get his head together. Bit better in last 10 mins as we had a go. Have a look at our WDL stats since April. Include pre season. It's shocking.
