The second half was much better, we could have snatch a draw, points are not going to be easy this season. I said earlier with our bad luck that we would lose Stones next to an injury, lets hope its not too bad. Keep the faith and support the team and manager, lets not put them under extra pressure. Like the look of Browning.

howard is a clown, I've had enough of Everton this season, no urgency until we are chasing the game - we are not good enough to dominate in this league the way bobby wants to play - this isn't the spanish league. Martinez needs to earn his crust now and get back to back wins

Barkley injured on the eve (literally) of the season set the tone.

We basically have the FA Cup left as far as I'm concerned.

We have to stick by Martinez though. He's a great manager but he needs to address key signings: CB(s), ACM (we have NO ONE to fill in for Barkley).

United dropping off us was the only reason we had chances at the end, they didn't even play well.

Probably deserve a draw bare minimum if not win in all honesty. They scored a jammy second, we missed a pen and were denied by two completely world class saves. We made our chances they had the luck. Unfortunate to get nothing from it at all, the main concern is now the injury bin.
I make that 6 starting players in Barkley, Mirallas, Pienaar, Stones, Coleman and McCarthy out, and Kone with questionable fitness.
Incredibly frustrating that. They go on about United having 8 players out or whatever but that is our core group, plain and simple.

Because apart from the last 5 minutes we were second best?

People are letting that late rally cloud their judgement, it was another poor performance in a season which has been littered with them.
