The points comparison with the same games last season (as in, corresponding fixture) is a bit scary

That's nonsense. A lot happened after the poor clearance, including the spectacle of seeing five "defenders" standing off Falcao
Piennaar was down and Oviedo ready to come on , A not complet idiot would have put the ball out . Time to make the change and regroup. Very sure Manu wouldnt have scored.

Bring on Osman instead of eto when behind sums up our season and our tactics. Howard poor again. Needs to be dropped to get his head together. Bit better in last 10 mins as we had a go. Have a look at our WDL stats since April. Include pre season. It's shocking.
I didnt
joking right? why would kenwright sack him? we've played chelsea, arsenal as well as going to old trafford and anfield in our first 7 game - we were never going to be better than mid-table - especially with juggling with europa.

he's made a few wrong decisions admitedly, but he's kind of had his hands tied. we're now at a position where we have coleman, stones, mccarthy, mirallas, pienaar and barkley injured with our best two strikers still not 100% and kone and gibson coming back from long setbacks.

we have many problems, but the manager is not one, anyone that thinks that, doesn't know anything about football.

our two "experienced leaders" at the back in howard and jagielka have been the square root to basically everything bad so far this season.
he picks the teams and the tactics and makes the substitutions
He got lucky against the RS, got v lucky v Krasnodar. Didn't get lucky today.
He's not being lucky but sometimes you make your own luck
Granted there are injuries but there always are injuries
We get a lot of injuries
I think Villa is key and if we don't win that then he's in big trouble

Difference was the keepers for me, howard with the worst goal keeper clearance ever (they should award him an assist for their second goal) and de gea with a peno save and two worldies in the second half.
And let's not forget his cock up with a minute left when he chose to pass the ball out to his RB instead of launching it upfield, and even f@@@@d up the pass, leaving utd with the possession to run down the clock. And don't get me started on his weak efforts at dealing with crosses.

If it wasn't for De Gea,we'd have won by a cricket score. Good performance but wrong result.

Are you mental

he made them saves in the last 10 minutes of the game. If we would have scored 1 we wouldn't have the other chances coz united would have moved forward instead of sitting deep

need to remove your head from your arse mate and smell the roses

Considering it was Russia on Thursday and the players ran the full 90 there to get the draw, then an element of me was expecting a bit of a hangover.
We pushed United all the way today and went at them when they started flagging, would never have thought we'd get a penalty there or that Baines would lose his record either. The result doesn't make the break any easier but the rest and recovery for our squad that seems in tatters after just 7 PL fixtures is welcome relief.
Gave a decent account of ourselves, deserved a point, but this is sport and more specifically it's football. Rough with the smooth.
Make the chances we did against these, and Chelsea and Diverpool and we'll mace more teams than we lose against. We'll be fine and we have yet to have had our strongest eleven fit and starting.

It'll come.

Same old same old, why do we wait until the last ten mins to have a go?? Thats the infuriating thing, we can do it but always leave it so fecking late. Can't believe them 2 worldys from De Gea though at the end.

Worrying thing now is confidence levels must be through the floor, need a MINIMUM of 7 points now out of Villa, Burnley and Swansea.
