Eto should have been in at the half but Osman played well, much better than Piennar or McGeady did. The shot was heading to the far post, I know the osman hate is strong but I don't see much more he could have done. DeGea is pretty good you know.
He should have hit it along the floor. Gave De Gea a chance by putting it in the air.

Injuries have wrecked our season every injury is a 6-8 weeker whilst other sides have players back after 2-3 weeks. Stones out for a while means that clown distin back in the side meaning goals conceded everywhere

If its not broke, dont fix it.

Martinez has fixed it. Tit !

Yeah we've had a very tough early schedule but thats no excuse really. Im more interested in how we play and how we set up in these early games of a new season, than results really. Ive seen nothing so far for me to be optimistic about. We are playing awful and NOTHING like last season.

Will Martinez still be manager by Xmas ?
ATM I wouldn't bet on it

joking right? why would kenwright sack him? we've played chelsea, arsenal as well as going to old trafford and anfield in our first 7 game - we were never going to be better than mid-table - especially with juggling with europa.

he's made a few wrong decisions admitedly, but he's kind of had his hands tied. we're now at a position where we have coleman, stones, mccarthy, mirallas, pienaar and barkley injured with our best two strikers still not 100% and kone and gibson coming back from long setbacks.

we have many problems, but the manager is not one, anyone that thinks that, doesn't know anything about football.

our two "experienced leaders" at the back in howard and jagielka have been the square root to basically everything bad so far this season.

Awful stuff, really. I didn't expect much with the injuries we had but we only really showed urgency when it was too late. I will start believing in god if he just gives me a guarantee that Stones is okay. If we can get a semblance of our full strength team back, I think we'll be okay though.

Bring on Osman instead of eto when behind sums up our season and our tactics. Howard poor again. Needs to be dropped to get his head together. Bit better in last 10 mins as we had a go. Have a look at our WDL stats since April. Include pre season. It's shocking.

Ossie could easily have won it for us.

Okay mate.

I'll praise him when he does it more than once a game, yeah? Lucky that Shaw was stupid to give the pen away, otherwise it might've gone the other way and ended up with absolutely nothing again.

Yes...as per.

Anything other than admit the lad has done well.....it was all Shaw's fault.

That would mean acknowledging you were wrong and that, in fact, Hibbert did offer "fanny adams" going forward.

That went better than expected that. Unlucky not to come away with a point or better.
De Gea was excellent. Would like to see Eto'o central, Lukaku benched, McCarthy / Besic for Villa and Browning in for Hibbo. Unlucky Stonesy - hope its a bad twist / light sprain and no break.

Desperately need a leader on the pitch, someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and drive us forward.

We seem toothless and terrified by the opposition for 90% of games. Odd considering no real personnel changes from last season
I would call having a sizable number of our Starting Eleven out a considerable personnel change.
