Christ, you probably still live in the 17th in the prem is a good finish days.
I was supporting when we won stuff but football changed with sky....we didnt capitalize on that (our mistake) and stop with the put downs...were all blues, Are all hurting ...you dont have that monopoly im afraid.

What has PO'ed me more than that result is the reaction of so many to it. Over the top praise for the defenders who, when it comes down to it, couldn't see the job out. That's the fact of the matter. But what are people doing instead of being livid at the failure? Just a collective shrug of the shoulders and a "argh aren't we unlucky eh?"

That was not the United team that did the double in 2007. That was a team who have won one home game in the league in 2017, are one place above us in the league and are heavily reliant on their star striker because of their weak squad. A team literally a mirror image of us. Yet no one is angry we didn't kill them off when we had so many chances too. Not properly angry anyway, not the type of anger a true winning club displays when they don't win.

That's the reason we never win any big away games, because no one expects too deep down and no one is really arsed that we don't. It's infuriating. I want my club to win, I demand they win, I will not make crappy jokes and laugh to myself when they don't win.

this, we should be demanding more from our players.

I disagree, on paper we have a team as good as those sides Liverpool and utd put out.

You did see the team we put out Sunday? I agree at full strength we have as good a team as those two - but due to circumstances we fielded a much weaker team than our opposition on both occasions - less so tonight.

I'm absolutely sick right now and I don't take disappointments well at the best of time. But the only thing consoling me right now is the hope of new players. Because I'm 100% convinced that if the board back Ron with the 5 or so quality players we need, then we win tonight comfortably. Please please get it right for next season so there's less weeks like this one.

If you allow crosses etc into the box like we did last 15 mins what can you expect. We did not try to block 1 of them. It was always going to cause a problem with their tall players. Suprised it didnt come sooner.

Liverpool and utd also had to field weaker teams

heck utd had about 10 players injured tonight and we failed to capitalise

I said before the match on Saturday, there are only 3 players in that team capable of scoring goals, mane, coutinho and firminho, if we mark those players and stop them from running and doing there thing then Liverpool won't score, they haven't got the creativity or legs that Henderson and Lallana bring to create anything from midfield, their wingers and striker are the main threat.

against utd, again I predicted that they would not create anything, they would lump it up to Zlatan as he is their main threat and it would be down to him to try and do something.

@davek initial reaction to the injury time equaliser V Bournemouth.

The most tension filled and ultimately crushing match I've seen in a long time. I kicked the crap outa the furniture at the end and terrified the cat.
Still it was a good night on reflection as we restored pride and gained a point on W Brom.
Strange choice of subs after Saturday's performance though and to think, before Xmas, some of us were thinking that RK wasn't going to give youth a chance.
