You cannot play a backs to the wall game for 70 odd minutes against a team Like Manchester United and hope they will not score because more than likely they will . If Everton think they are putting me through that then can think again . We should get stuck into them with a venom and tenacity coupled with flair and strength . Fcuk the skill because we currently havent got much in that department .

Moyes: Fantastic

Moyes On Cup Ref – News Archive – News – evertonfc.com – The Official Website of Everton Football Club

David Moyes has spoken about the appointment of FA Cup semi-final referee Mike Riley.
Riley, 44, will replace Steve Bennett as the official for Everton's clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
And Moyes was asked about the Yorkshire official in the press conference ahead of that game.
The Everton manager said: "A member of the press is asking me if Mike Riley is a Manchester United supporter - I think that is something you would need to bring up with the FA.
"It is something that one or two managers would have something to say about. It is the FA's appointment; I think it was (originally) supposed to be Steve Bennett.
"If you, from the press, are saying that Mike Riley is a Man United supporter, you would hope the FA would look at that."
Moyes said that, in general, he believes English referees are doing a good job. But he did question the influence of the so-called 'big four' clubs.
"I think the referees in this country are very honest," he said. "I think they try to get the decisions right.
"I think they can be influenced, I think that has been seen in a couple of games I've been involved in recently."

He is starting to use the media to his advantage. He done similar prior the derby mentioning how we hadn't had much luck with decisions.

We will crush their souls, we will destroy their bodys. We will fight them in the Pubs and on Wembley Way, we shall never surrender, we will be the victors!!!!

Tell me Mar, me Mar, I dont want no tea, no tea, where going to Wembley twice, tell Cals Mar.

Tell cals ma cals to make room for a wool for tea cause we iz going to Wembley to cals ma cals ma . Goat lets meet up for a drink near Wembley ?

It dates bk to when out of town labour was used to ferry wool to and from ships docked in Liverpool . Liverpudlians who were employed at the docks were upset by this and coined the slur " Woolybacks "

Thought you would know that tocy as an asute observer of history .
