If you do the same thing EVERY single time it becomes predictable and quite easy to defend. Funny, I thought the goal was to not let your opponent have the ball for as much as possible and to do, you know, things with the ball when you do.
We’re not trying to score though. We don’t care about any of that. The only point is to not concede, which we just did anyway.
 
Feels like he started Beto today just to say that's why I don't put him in regularly. Can still remember Dyche randomly starting Simms at Man. United in the run in in 22/23 instead of some of the more winnable home games and pretty sure he made that point straight after that game.

Wolves is a huge game in the season. Can't be losing to them and I think a draw isn't much good either.
Yep those were by first thoughts on him putting Beto in as well. We’ll see on Wednesday.
 
The blues need 3 goals just to score parity, and I don’t see that happening in all honesty.

Though if it does happen, we may as well score 4 without conceding, and that would equal a win and 3 points for the league tally.

But as it stands, it’s no extra points to add to our league tally for the season.
